During the first quarter of 2022, the top five music and podcasts apps on the Android platform in Israel showed diverse performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 3.9K in late December 2021 and peaking at approximately 5.4K by mid-March 2022. Shazam: Find Music & Concerts had fluctuating download numbers, beginning with around 5.2K at the end of December 2021 and stabilizing at about 2.8K towards the end of Q1 2022. Weekly active users for Shazam started at approximately 69.8K and saw a decline to about 64.2K by the end of the quarter.
